Ideas usually start small. I was going through an old notebook today and found the first kernel of the idea at the core of Leech. I have a lot of little notes like this to myself, but they rarely amount to much more than just an idea. I think I got lucky with this one.

I haven't spent much time sharing my thoughts here on my website in the past few months, so I thought I'd come back and talk a little about my experience participating in National Novel Writing Month in 2015.

Have you played around with Canva yet? It's a pretty great tool/service that lets you put together some nice looking marketing pieces pretty quickly. You can create everything from those tiny social media squares, posters, to a variety of page sized designs, and yes... book covers. If you're an indie writer without tons of money for buying your book cover designs, it's a great place to start.

My son has the week off for Spring Break, so while he and I spend the week goofing off by seeing dumb movies and playing even more ridiculous video games, I thought I'd include you in the celebration by making Leech available for free!
